Hunt and collect :
1/2 cup grated soap (I prefer Dove or Pears)
1/4 cup oats
1/4 cup dried orange peel
1 stick cinnamon
2 tbsp dried grated ginger
Few drops of orange essential oil ( I'm partial to orange you can use any or skip it)
4" x 4" squares of organza
Ribbon to tie
Get to work :
In a bowl mix rose petals, orange peel , ginger, oats and essential oil.Cover with cling film and let it sit for a day.Meanwhile place the cinnamon stick with the grated soap, cover with cling film and let it sit for a day. Next day toss the soap with the oats mix lightly till everything is homogeneous.Transfer to an air tight container.Keep the jar in a cool dry place.
Whenever you want to use it just scoop a handful and place in the center of the organza square.Gather the corners and tie off with a ribbon.
These make cute gifts too.Make a bunch of these and pop them in a basket.
You can make your own variation of the filling to suit your preference.
