Dupe It Yourself: Recycle Foundation

Do It Yourself Recycle Foundation
My love for foundation makes me keep coming up with foundation DIYs(Dupe It Yourself: Three Way With Your Foundation). And this post is very special because there have been loads of times when I ended up with a wrong foundation only to wonder what to do with it.So the next time you end up with a foundation you don't like, just recycle like me.

Here's what you can do if your foundation is:

Too oily
Convert it into a gel foundation by mixing it with a few drops of rose water and a blob of aloe vera gel. This will dilute the foundation plus make application easier. The aloe vera gel will help absorb the foundation better too and act as a primer (Dupe It Yourself:Face Primer).

Too thick
If the consistency is too thick to work with you can try thinning it down with a few drops of mineral water or toner.Or the thick foundation will happily double up as a concealer, specially the accumulated foundation around the inner rim of the cap and bottle.

Too dull
Depending on the formulation some foundations can look pretty flat and lifeless.Mix a  a few scrapes of a pearly peach or pink blush to instantly rev up your foundation.Alternatively you can try adding an iridescent  powder highlighter or bronzer to give your foundation that extra kick.

Too dark
Bought the wrong shade?Worry not because you can always mix it with a moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer. And if you don't want to do that you can lighten the colour a notch by mixing in loose powder or a lighter mineral foundation.Dark foundation can also be used for sculpting your cheeks and jaw line.

So what do you do when you end up with a foundation folly?

Also great to buff colours and obtain a soft, blended look. It is made of natural bristles and is extremely travel friendly.

All the best!!!

My Take: Fabindia Aloe Vera & Cucumber Gel Face Pack

Fabindia Aloe Vera & Cucumber Gel Face Pack Review
What It Claims
Made with aloe vera gel and cucumber extract, this gel face pack gives a cooling and soothing effect. It keeps the skin healthy and protects it from environmental damages.

Ingredients
Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, Carbopol 940, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerine, Lactic Acid, Propyl Paraben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Aloe Vera Extract, Cucumber Extract, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Methyl Paraben.

Fabindia Aloe Vera & Cucumber Gel Face Pack Review
Directions For Use
Avoiding the eye area, apply the pack and leave on for 10 minutes.Rinse with cold water and pat dry.

Price
Rs 225 for 100 ml

The Good
  • It has a wonderful fresh fragrance that instantly revives you.I love using it in the morning as soon as I get up to refresh me instantly.Since it's cooling it helps to bring down any swelling from accumulation of lymphatic liquid in the face.
  • Contains two of my all time favourites: aloe vera and cucumber.I personally love the combination for their freshness and mattifying benefits.
  • Love the texture. It's more or less similar to aloe gel, but less sticky.
Fabindia Aloe Vera & Cucumber Gel Face Pack Review
  • This pack is custom made for people who hate making, applying or rinsing packs. In other words moi. It's instant, spreads easily without being too messy, and rinses off without leaving murk all around.
  • It does not dry out your face like other mud based packs which makes it ideal for all skin types. It dries off as a nice tight film.
  • Great for prepping skin before makeup since it refreshes skin. While the pack is drying, it slightly tingles and feels warm which feels good and wakes my skin up(some people might not like the tingling).
  • A very small quantity is required because of it's gel like consistency. So the 100 ml jar will last you a long time.
The Bad
  • The biggest con with this product is that though it instantly peps your skin up ,  it does little else.
  • Expensive for a product that does not do much in terms of skincare.A homemade mix of aloe vera gel and cucumber juice would do the same thing for a fraction of the price.
  • Packaging is bulky and unhygienic.
  • It tingles and burns a little in the beginning which isn't a problem for me but definitely makes me wonder about the the ingredients.
Love It Or Chuck It
This is a great pack for lazybones like me and I do love it for it's refreshing attributes but since I can do that more economically at home myself, I'd rather Chuck It.Sure that means me giving up my lazy ways, but it beats paying 225 bucks.

If you're not into readymade packs and would rather whip something similar yourself then check out
Whipped TLC: Beat The Heat

My Take: Sigma F45 Buffer Brush

What It Claims

Sigma F45 Buffer Brush Review
Sigma F45 Buffer Brush is ideal for applying mineral foundation, loose or pressed powders. Also great to buff colours and obtain a soft, blended look. Made of natural bristles.

Price
$19 + shipping
Available at www.sigmabeauty.com

The Good
  • Great for loose and pressed powders.
  • The bristles are extremely soft and distribute powder evenly.
Sigma F45 Buffer Brush Review
  • Buffs product evenly to give a natural finish.
  • The bristles are densely packed and yet have movement in them. The surface area is good enough to pick adequate powder.
Sigma F45 Buffer Brush Review
  • Extremely travel-friendly.Ever since I first started using it I've been carrying it in my emergency on the go kit to apply loose powder. And unlike other fluffy powder brushes this baby does not hog space.
  • Blends any harsh contour lines left behind by blush or bronzer.I love using it to buff my blush to give a lovely natural finish as if my skin is radiating colour from within (of course the blush also has a role to play).
  • The brush itself is is easy to hold and control (around 2" by 2" ).
Sigma F45 Buffer Brush Review
  • I washed it before using (as instructed) and surprisingly it dried super quick,  faster than the F80.And unlike other brushes the bristles did not loose their softness nor did it splay(that might be because I encased it in my brush guard while drying).
  • I had tried a few brushes to apply the Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush, but without getting that desired finish. With this one however I got the perfect finish. The blush blended beautifully with the foundation to give a natural finish.
The Bad
  • The bristles shed like crazy.Maybe it's because the brush is dense but whatever the reason every time I use it my face is left with loose hair which is very irritating to pick out.Although I've noticed that the shedding has reduced considerably after using it for a while.
  • A little expensive specially when you add the shipping cost.
  • Only available online.
  • I wish it came with a protective guard to keep the bristles in place.I use the largest brush guard I have but it would be great if they could provide one for the cost.
Sigma F80 Vs Sigma F45
While Sigma F80 is more suited to liquid products Sigma F45 is great for powder products. The former is priced at $16 and despite being cheaper than Sigma F45 is of a better quality(maybe it's because it's made of synthetic bristles which are more durable).I tried substituting one for the other but both belong to different classes of brushes.Sigma F80 has a flat top and very densely packed bristles which makes it ideal for buffing liquid and cream products while the Sigma F45 has a slightly rounded top and though it has a dense head of hair, the bristle are less densely packed making it ideal for buffing powder products.
You can read a detailed review of the Sigma F80 here.

Love It Or Chuck It
This is the kabuki I had been waiting for. It's fluffy and soft and great at buffing powders. It's a handy brush to carry because of it's size and multitasking capabilities. It does come with a heavy price tag, but the quality is great and the brush would definitely last a while, as long as you take good care of it.I do wish that it would shed a little less, but despite it I love this cutesy.

My Take: Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation In Pearl

Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation Review And Swatch
What It Claims

Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation
  • Blends easily into your skin to create a soft glowing and feather like finish.
  • A water-resistant, oil-free formula with Vitamin E that provides  superior coverage.
  • Contains Vitamin E that soothes and moisturizes the skin.
  • Silicones help in easy application, spreading evenly for an even toned look.
Price
Rs 99 for 27 ml

Shades

Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation shades

Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation Review And Swatch
Pearl is the lightest shade available and is a perfect match for my skin tone. It's a perfect blend of pink as well as yellow undertones.

The Good
  • It has a lovely slippery texture which applies really smoothly using fingers or a brush. My favourite way of applying it is by spritzing a blush brush with a makeup fixer (my own version of MAC Fix Plus) dabbing it onto the foundation at the back of my hand and buffing a thin layer all over my face.I find that using a blush brush instead of a regular foundation brush gives a more air brushed finish.I have also tried applying it with fingers which gives a pretty good application too.
  • Blends beautifully into the skin without being streaky (once you find the right shade).
  • The shade (Pearl) is just awesome. When I bought this (actually at a kirana store, can you believe it!) there were only two shades available Pearl and Shell.I decided to go with the lightest shade, which turned out to be a bang on match. It is not overly pink nor yellow but a lovely peachy pink which looks very natural.
Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation Review And Swatch
Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation Review And Swatch
  • The coverage is medium but is buildable.Again this holds true if you find the right shade. After applying a thin layer all over you can easily go over areas that need more coverage with a foundation brush.
  • It evens out the skin and is helps tone down pigmentation.
  • Since it gives a good coverage and is in liquid form, it's great for mixing with your normal moisturizer or sunscreen to get a tinted cream. The resultant concoction is good for evening out the skin and covers minor flaws.
  • Very economically priced.
  • It lasts a good 2-3 hours which is pretty good. After that it makes my face look a bit greasy and dull. But what I loved the most about this foundation is that even in the sweltering heat it did not melt and start dripping like the Maybelline Wonder Finish. It does come off with sweat but it didn't wash right off my face, I still had some product on, once I dabbed it with tissue. So I strongly back up it's claim of being water resistant.Of course my application technique did help too.
  • Easily available, I mean I bought it at a kirana store while indulging my crazy potato chip fetish.
The Bad
  • It smells absolutely horrible.Every time I open the cap I feel like throwing it out but then I remind myself how great a foundation it is specially at the cost and resist the temptation.Thankfully the smell does not linger and fades away eventually.
  • No ingredient list, not that I always read it but since the website claimed that the foundation contains silicon I was really curious as to the authenticity of the claim.
  • Does not last in hot humid weather, but then the Indian Summers can put even the best of the foundation to shame, so I won't consider this to be much of a con.
  • Although it claims to be oil free, it can make oily skin look greasy since it has a dewy finish.Best suited for normal, dry or even combination skin.
  • The shades are a bit tricky to gauge. All four differ very slightly and it can be very difficult to choose the right shade.
  • If applied incorrectly it can look really ashy. The trick lies in applying a thin layer and buffing the edges.
Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation Vs Maybelline Wonder Finish Foundation
Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation is definitely more economical than the Maybelline Wonder Finish Foundation at Rs 99 (while the latter is priced at Rs 359).Texture wise, Lakme one is more slippery and gives a dewy finish while the Maybelline one gives a velvety finish. The Lakme foundation outlasts the Maybelline one by a fair margin on  hot humid days and did not melt as badly in the heat either. Both give a pretty comparable coverage, but the Lakme one is buildable unlike Maybelline plus has a wider range of shades to choose from. The only good thing about the Maybelline Wonder Finish Foundation is that it contains SPF 15 which is missing in the Lakme Foundation.

Love It Or Chuck It
Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation is why I haven't yet lost faith in Lakme, despite a few bad experiences with the brand.Agreed that lately Lakme has upped it's standard considerably and is at par with a few international brands, but this foundation is the reason why Lakme is still the favourite of the masses. I've noticed that the lower priced range and everyday products are inarguably the best ones churned out by Lakme.I actually bought this product to mix with my sunscreen to double up as a tinted sunscreen for everyday use and ended up loving it.And at this price this is worth a try at least once.

Mythbusters: Hair Care

Common Hair Care Myths Busted
It's easy to concoct hair myths since most people are pretty attached to their mane and would happily believe anything. And once a hair rumour starts its pretty difficult to contain it until it's wrecked the brains of some very sensible people.

Listed below are five of the oldest and most common hair myths along with the actual facts.

Myth #1
Switching shampoos makes hair healthier
Busted
I've heard this advice advocated by almost everyone I know and I did blindly believe it for a long time, until it stopped making sense.Hair is pretty dumb and dead so how can it tell the difference between different brands or build up tolerance to any product for that matter?I've been using the Schwarzkopf Repair Rescue Range(shampoo, conditioner, hair mask: the whole deal) for almost a year now religiously without any so called product build up.The range is exclusively meant for rebonded hair and so far it's been taking good care of my hair.Definitely if you have oily or very fine hair and prefer using  heavy duty styling products like pomade, mousse, or gel, the extra goop tends to accumulate on your hair in which case a clarifying shampoo might prove beneficial once every two weeks.Though use clarifying shampoos with caution since, these detergent-heavy cleansers, which do such a great job of removing build up, will also do a great job of giving you damaged hair.

Myth #2
“ You can mend split ends with the right products
Busted
Nope you can't just like you can't mend a broken heart.Once they are split you can do absolutely nothing to fix it.The best thing to do would be to cut them off immediately or they will split higher and do more damage. You could though try making split ends less noticeable by applying a product containing silicone or beeswax, which will temporarily seal ends together, making hair softer and more manageable. To prevent split ends avoid brushing wet hair or using hot styling tools frequently.Protect your hair from sun damage and and get a trim once every two months.

Myth #3
Cutting Hair Makes It Grow Faster and/or Thicker”
Busted
This ludicrous advice has been passed on for ages and it amazes me how many people actually believe it.Hair grows from the scalp so how can chopping them off from the bottom help you grow hair faster?Sure this might have had some credibility if you had grass instead of hair but since you don't I highly doubt a hair cut will make much difference to your hair length or thickness.Cutting your hair will only make it shorter and hairs grows almost exactly half an inch per month, no matter what you do, and will not alter it's normal biologically determined growth rate or overall texture.

Myth #4
If you pluck out one gray hair, two or three will sprout in its place
Busted
If that were true everyone would be plucking hair to get bountiful hair, since you can always cover up the gray as long as you have a full mane.Gray hair simply means absence of colour, so pulling out a gray hair will not influence another gray one to grow.Although plucking out those gray strands is a bad habit since you can damage the roots, causing infection or leaving a scar.

Myth #5
“To get really clean hair, you must "lather, rinse, and repeat”
Busted
The labels on almost all shampoos read lather rinse repeat, so you do exactly that not realizing that it's simply a marketing strategy to get one to use more of the product, run out of it quicker and then have to purchase more. One thorough washing will do the trick as long as you spend an extra couple minutes washing your hair properly. While shampooing, massage the shampoo into your scalp and throughout your hair to get a nice lather and then rinse to get all the suds out of your hair.Follow up with conditioner.A second lather might be necessary if you have extremely dirty hair but since most of us shampoo regularly and frequently I highly doubt that situation will ever arise.

So that's 5 most common hair myths busted for you.If you have any hair care bubble to burst feel free to comment and let me know.

My Take: Mengdu Foundation Stick

Mengdu Foundation Stick Review
Mengdu Foundation Stick Review
The Good
  • The texture is super duper creamy and it blends like a dream. It has a slip to it which I'm assuming is because it contains silicon.
  • Application is really easy and fuss free.I normally draw lines with the bullet all over my face and then blend it with the Sigma F80.Stick foundations are great for beginners.
  • Although the coverage is light to medium, it is buildable without looking too cakey as long as it is blended well.Great for evening out your skin tone.
  • It doubles up as a concealer.Great for spots and also does a pretty good job of evening out red blotchy skin.I have tried using it a couple of times for concealing under eye dark circles and it did a fair enough job.The shade is not ideal for concealing dark circles but since it blends well, application is easier.
  • A steal at 150 specially since most other similar products start at 250+
  • Even though it's cheap and not made by a hot shot brand, the quality of the product is pretty good.It stays on for a good 3-4 hours and does not easily come off with sweat. It did'nt cause any breakout's either.
  • The packaging is quite sturdy and travel friendly, easy for on the go touch ups.
  • The product didn't melt and the bullet didn't collapse despite the extreme heat which is good but also bad in the way that it indicates it has some pretty strong ingredients.
The Bad
  • The biggest con with the product is it's anonymity.I tried an exhaustive search for the brand but the only thing I found out was that the brand was based in China. And normally I won't indulge in obscure brands but this baby has totally won me over despite it's obscure existence.
  • No ingredient list, but I've been using it regular for a while now without any adverse effect on my skin.
  • Application can get a bit streaky if not applied on well moisturised skin.
  • Only a single shade available.
  • Availability is a big issue. There's just one shop in the whole town that stocks this product and it sells like hot cakes despite being an unknown brand.
Love It Or Chuck It
I bought this stick on the recommendation of a friend who was going all gaga over it just to see what the fuss was all about.Normally I'm pretty picky when it comes to makeup but I would make an exception for this one any given day.And although it comes in a single shade the shade is a perfect match for my skin tone. This product just works for me in every possible way.The absence of a well known tag on it is definitely a downer but then I'll keep this as my one cheap makeup thrill I want to indulge.Love It.

The Good
  • These are some of the best eye shadows I have ever used.Super creamy despite being in powder form and easy to blend.
  • The shades are absolutely gorgeous. The darker shades apply matte with beautiful complimenting shimmer (gold in woodland fairy and blue in twilight). And the lighter shades are perfect for highlighting as well as to add a subtle sheen on top of other shades.
  • The swatches are bang on.Normally swatches on the website are pretty inaccurate, however Mattify has done an awesome job with the swatches. They have swatched the eye shadows both dry and wet and in some cases they have also swatched it as nail paints. The colour I got were a 100% match with the website swatches.
  • These are extremely long lasting, specially when applied wet.I suppose it's because they contain the same Kaolin Clay mixture as Mattify Original Powder which gives them a superb oil absorbing base and staying power. The lighter shades though are slightly less long lasting than their darker counterparts, but they fade away evenly without leaving too much glitter behind.
  • The powder is really finely milled and the glitter is not at all chunky, which makes it really easy to apply even with fingers.
  • The pigmentation specially for the darker shades is superb.A teeny tiny amount is all you need to apply on both the eyes.
  • Incredibly versatile. Can be used wet or dry as an eye shadow, can be used as an eyeliner, can be mixed with clear nail polish to create stunning new shades and some of the lighter shades can be mixed with clear gloss to make your very own lip gloss.I love using Woodland Fairy as an eyeliner because it gives a very intense colour and when applied wet the shimmer vanishes.Instead of mixing it with water, I mix it with a special concoction (will share later) which gives better staying power and adds a touch gleam to the eyeliner.
  • These pots are a great bargain at $4.99 (around Rs 250) since a little goes a really long way, they are great at multitasking and moreover you don't have to pay shipping.Mineral makeup could not get cheaper than this.
The Bad
  • Since they are powder based there is quite a bit of product fallout.I normally apply these before applying a base.
  • There are no matte shades available as of yet.I know these are sparkling eye shadows and I do enjoy all the glitz and glamour of shimmery shadows but I wish they would add a few matte shades to their collection.
  • A tad tricky to apply because the colour are really intense and it's easy to go overboard.
  • Only available online.
Love It Or Chuck It

Mattify! Cosmetics Sparkling Eye Shadows Review And Swatch In Twilight Cotton Candy Iced Apricot Woodland FairyTotally head over heels in Love. The shades are absolutely gorgeous, they sit tight on my oily lids easily for 4-5 hours without  creasing and these pots will last me a lifetime. There is nothing more I desire from an eye shadow.I'm most definitely going to try out other shades, my favourites being: Mystic Mermaid: a lovely iridescent teal, Midnight Train: a deep navy with silver flecks and Summer Storm: grey with silver sheen. If you love eye makeup then you should absolutely stock up on these.

Peek-A-Boo: Mineral Love From Monavé Minerals

mineral make up by monavé review
Lately it's been raining mineral makeup at my humble abode and personally I could not be happier since I've gotten addicted to them.I mean it's hard for me to imagine life without mineral makeup now.And the reason for that is three folds: it's gentle on your skin, applies better and has such amazing hues and shades that it's simply impossible to resist. So a Mineral Makeup package from MonavĂ© Minerals was all I needed to go bonkers with joy!

Mineral Makeup by Monavé comes forth as a trustworthy brand because they are very forthright about the ingredients used in their products. The product line consists of organic botanical ingredients, completely gluten-free formulas that are 95% vegan, and all products are free of paraben preservatives, dyes, and bismuth oxychloride. Monavé does not engage in animal testing, and chooses the highest quality mineral makeup ingredients, not simply for the press, but for the health and performance of the products.Monavé has a wide array of shades for all complexions, lifestyles and ages.

The Monavé line of mineral cosmetics includes lip glosses, lipsticks, blush, eye liners, bronzers, mineral makeup foundation, as well as naturally formulated facial skin care and natural hair care products.

Monavé was also awarded first place in The Natural Solutions magazine 2009 Beauty with a Conscience awards!

And now onto the mineral love that was showered on me:

Monavé Loose Mineral Concealer-Foundation In Caroline and Claire

mineral make up by monavé review
This mineral makeup foundation formula offers more coverage than traditional foundation formula and can easily double up as a concealer too. It's creamier with a matte finish and is ideal for acne and rosasea sufferers since it's high in zinc oxide, which is beneficial for inflamed and irritated skin.

In addition, Monavé loose mineral foundation has a high SPF factor and is nearly waterproof .Even though it is a powder foundation, it is not drying. It seals in moisture for those with dry skin yet doesn't clog pores for those with oily skin. It also won't "break up" in response to oil, but remains flawless throughout the day.The foundation comes in a bevy of colours to suit all skin tones and colours.

Monavé Illuminizer In Glisten

mineral make up by monavé reviewFace Illuminizers work as highlighters and come in three different shades to suit different skin tones.Glisten is a pale pink that imparts a faint rosy glow, subtle, with a delicate, smooth sheen. These can be brushed gently over foundation to achieve luminous skin or can be added on top of eye shadow to give it another dimension. This product is my favourite outta the lot because of the lovely iridescent quality to it.

Monavé Pearlescent Blush In Vintage Lace

mineral make up by monavé review
I chose this shade simply because it had such a beautiful name.Vintage lace reeks of an old world charm much like the blush itself. It is a very unusual colour for a blush, pink with strong mauve undertones and a pearlescent finish and although I'm yet to try it on I'm sure I'll fall in love right away.Monave Pearlescent Blushes are made from pure mica. They are sheer, and natural looking, and have a soft sheen, perfect for casual and evening looks. These are pure pigment and can be used on the nails and lips as well.

MonavĂ© Versatile Mineral Powders in Champagne, Copper and Vamp

mineral make up by monavé review
Monave loose mineral powders are a blend of pure, oxidized mica, and are versatile and fun. The texture of the powders range from semi-matte (these impart a light sheen) to shimmer, to full sparkle. All of these beautiful loose powders can be used as eye shadow, eyeliner, blush, and nail polish. The red, pink, brown and beige tones can also be mixed into a clear gloss and applied to the lips.Makeup artists can blend their own shades together to create custom colours.

All in all my mouth is drooling with the prospect of trying these awesome goodies. And I don't know how I've resisted so far, these still have their safety stickers glued on.

So while I dig into these beauties you go and check out their wonderful range of all natural cosmetic and skincare range at http://www.monave.com/ and get yourself some mineral love too.

And to sweeten the deal Monave is having a Buy one Get one Free Labor Day Sale on any cosmetic product. This does not include skincare, or brushes, but any makeup product that you purchase from the Cosmetics section of the site (not Making Cosmetics, or Wholesale)

Style Diary: 5 Classic Celebrity Red Carpet Looks

Smokin HOT!
Smoldering smoky eyes coupled with a glowing complexion and perfect pout has been a celebrity staple for a while now.And I understand the reason for it it.Smoky eyes can be simple or extravagant depending on the occasion and can easily up the glam quotient without much fuss. The main focus here should be the eyes while the rest of the features take a back seat.A glowing complexion can add to the entire look making it a classic red carpet look: case in point Angelina Jolie. The key to a great smoky eye look is blending which apparently Taylor Momsen decided to skip.

Nude Is In
Beautiful glowing skin never goes out of fashion. And the best part about this look is that it can take years off your face. And Jennifer Aniston looks radiant with little makeup on.Obviously you have to have good skin to pull of this look, but makeup can definitely help enhance it even more.Work with your natural skin tone to bring out the natural colours of your skin.Stay away from harsh bronzers, red cheeks or lips and textures that seem unnatural: glossy and powdery. This look will look good only if it seems you have no makeup on. Nicole Kidman got almost everything right except for the excess powder.

Lips To The Rescue

Hot bright lips work like a charm to pump up the oomph quotient. The paler the skin, the bigger the pop. So it's advisable to go light on the eyes and the blush, otherwise you'll risk looking like a clown, Gwen Stefani take note.Olivia Wilde on the other hand plays with bright red glossy lips while keeping the rest of her face neutral.Although red lips are the first thing that come to mind when you think of bright lips, fuchsia, bubblegum pink and berry work as good if not better than red lips.

Bronze Is All You Need

This look can be a bit tricky and not everyone can pull it off since it's easy to go overboard when it comes to bronzers. The idea is to give a fresh fake bronzy glow to your skin as subtly as possible. And no one can master the bronzed goddess look quite like Cheryl Cole.Since the bronzed look can be pretty strong it's advisable to keep the rest of the makeup soft yet warm in the same tone as the bronzer. And everything should be well blended harsh lines can simply ruin the whole bronzed goddess appeal, which proved to be the demise of whatever Ashley Greene was trying to attempt.

Pop Of Colour

Uber bright eyes are the best way to add a touch of fun colour to your makeup routine. The pop of colour will instantly rev you up.I'm totally digging the bright blue shadow and heavy lashes on Katy Perry.Make sure to use matte shadows and downplay the rest of the makeup specially lips if you want to avoid looking like a show girl or rather Leighten Meester.Apply heavy coats of mascara to help frame your eyes and draw attention to your shadow and to balance the look.
