My Take : NYX Round Lip Gloss

The NYX Lippies are a sensation all over so my first online haul saw me buying the round lippy in Fig from Cherry Culture. But honestly I am a gloss female and prefer them any given day.I had never owned a red lipstick/gloss and since I was apprehensive about an out and out red lipstick I thought I'd pick the round glossy in True Red.
The haul arrived and I loved the gloss more than any other makeup item I have ever owned. The moment I applied it, it just transformed me in my pj's and floppies to glam diva (I hope I'm not exaggerating too much), without any other shred of makeup. Now whether the red was to blame or the gloss is highly debatable.
Convinced with the glossies as a bunch of true mu saviors, I ordered another two, this time from Shop Craze.I would have ordered more but was not too sure about shades.
And then came Whipped and Real Nude.My affirmation in the round glossies were etched in stone. And now I will stop blabbering and breakdown the review.

Dupe It Yourself : Organic 'No Poo' Shampoo

Before you get any weird ideas from the 'no poo' bit let me clarify. No Poo Shampoo is the latest fad to hit town. And for once I'm not complaining.I have been shampooing the no poo way up until a couple of days ago(I just got my hair rebonded and I'm scared to experiment right now) and so far it's been the best shampoo ever because of a number of reasons. One it is totally natural, two it keeps your scalp clean and grease proof longer and three it is cheap.
No Poo shampoo basically uses baking soda and vinegar to replace all the chemicals in your shampoo namely Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), Alcohol, isopropyl (SD-40), Propylene glycol (PG) and butylene glycol.I hope the names have scared you away from your shampoo. If not then try googling them and you will be scared.

Back On The Blogging Scene

I know I have been M.I.A. for the last 2 weeks or so but I have a valid reason or reasons to be more precise. My boss finally realized that I have been sneaking upon work to write a beauty blog(beauty blog she exclaimed!!!).Don't worry I'm not fired but still got tonnes of extra work and shifts to put in.Then the viral bug doing the rounds of the blogosphere last month finally caught up and laid to waste all my beauty blogging plans. And the cherry on top was when I finally recovered only to discover my Laptop also caught the viral bug and absolutely refused to start.Since I'm a crazy person who never backs up(never again I swear)all my drafts, notes pics and basically my life went down the drain.I hope I have your attention and your sympathies now.

Whipped TLC : Cellulite

cellulite Cellulite was a relatively unknown term to me a few years back until I encountered it one fine day.Although the experience is something I hate to talk about, it at least made me aware of the changes in my body and how I have to start paying attention.
Cellulite might be described as fat deposits just under your skin’s surface giving a dimpled appearance and that is why it is also known as Orange Peel Syndrome or Cottage Cheese Skin. And if you think the names are funny you have yet to meet it face to face.It generally affects the skin on abdomen, thighs and the pelvic region and occurs after the onset of puberty. When the fat cells become too large to be accommodated by the natural compartments within the skin they bulge and form uneven layers of fat resulting in cellulite and it definitely does not help if the skin has poor elasticity to begin with.So the big question what causes fat to deposit under the skin and to make matters worse grow in size.
